The challenges that South Africa face today as a democracy are the following: high poverty and high unemployment rate, and unequal access to transportation and technology.

After so many years living under the Apartheid, South Africa changed with the arrival of black leader Nelson Mandela to the presidency. Today, although there has been considerable progress, there are many issues still unresolved in South Africa. The most important: poverty.

It is not easy to find jobs in that country. People still live in poverty and lack of public education. The government does not invest in public infrastructure, which includes poor means of transportation and regarding technology, low and medium classes find difficult to access it.
