Answer.AI @ Harvard/MIT
From fireside chats to lectures, see how we spent our time @ Harvard and MIT.

From talking about our origin story...
We didn’t start with millions of users, but we were a small group of builders passionate about creating an innovative product that would make education accessible and lots of fun.
We bopped around Cambridge, starting off at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and swerving to MIT Sloan School of Management by the Charles River. Ric, our founder, biked his way over to both schools and talked with prospective entrepreneurs, teachers, and researchers about how he came to start Answer.AI.

to meeting grad students merging AI and education,
It’s the age of AI, and students are ready to apply it to their fields of study. During Q&A sessions, we discussed the proliferation of AI edtech tools and the necessity to create products that are a true value-add for students, determined by hundreds of hours of user feedback and iterations.
Students agreed. Both in their classes and their jobs, they’ve discovered that AI is here to stay, and GenZ students are quick to adapt to new technologies. Finding the right balance of organic and AI tool-based learning is the sweet spot that the world of education is still uncovering.
From asking questions about the usage of generative AI models to troubleshooting AI hallucinations, these events opened up a nuanced and necessary dialogue that prioritized the productivity and well-being of students.

and discussing the future of AI in the classroom.
Now where does that leave us? Well, it’s only up from here. Our Harvard & MIT chats all had one thing in common: the buzz of excitement when talking about how Answer.AI—and the field of AI in education—will only continue to grow, and at rapid pace.
We grew from 0 to 6 million in less than a year, a number we’re not touting to brag (though we are honored), but to showcase that students are hungry for AI tools in their learning, and not just for homework help. They’re coming to us for college advice, financial aid, AP exam prep, and dozens of other concerns under the umbrella of overall student success.
It’s up to us and future innovators—some of whom we met at these very events—to work towards a more equitable, accessible, engaging, and personalized educational landscape, so student learning is catered to their needs, their passions heard and applied to their growth.
